I always plant a few very early tomato plants just for braggin rights. I'm not above sticking my In-laws, who live here on the farm with us, with a little boasting. I put out 5 plants in early march and we harvested our first tomato about May 15th. I was sure to mention to them how good that first tomato sandwhich was. I tried to sound like it was no big deal but I'm sure I didn't fool them. On the inside I was saying, "Ha, Ha I got the first one", and I kinda think a little smirk snuck out on my lips. It did taste good though, and we've been eating one almost every day or two since then. I don't have enough to sell yet so you'll just have to imagine how good it tastes. I'll bet you can almost see me smirking at you.
