We finally got a much needed rain last night. We had one of the driest Marchs on record and the pastures were starting to show it. I got the sweet corn planted a few days ago so this rain should help to get it to come up unless it gets too cold. The radar showed more rain headed this way and the forecast shows a chance of rain through Tuesday.

Sue and Liz went to a dog show in Perry Ga. Friday and Saturday and left me and Becky to tend to the animals. Now I'm not the best animal caretaker in the world but all were alive and accounted for when they returned which is all they ask for.

I put out the pepper plants on Friday, they were getting too big for their pots and had to be put in the ground. We really need to plant some tomatoes on Monday for the same reason but they are forecasting low Temps in the 30's Tuesday night so we might have to hold off till Wedensday.

Even though it's Sunday I'm going to have to sit down and do our taxes today. You would think with all those smart folks up in Washington they could come up with an easier system to do taxes. I guess if the rules weren't complicated a whole lot of accountants would be put out of buisiness and folks would miss all the loop holes those complicated rules create.
