Well Duke didn't get best of breed at the Eukanuba show but he did get an award of merit. In each breed the judge selects a dog as the "best of breed" and also gives 3 awards of merit so we are all quite proud of Duke. While they were gone I had to hold down the fort and I was sure glad to see them get back. Trying to do the work of 3 people wears you out.
I've been pruning apple trees the last few days. I really pruned heavily this year to renew the trees some. We have a lady from a rabbit rescue group that comes and gets the pruned limbs for her rabbits to chew on. I sure hope she brings a big truck this year!
The warm weather we had last week broke last weekend. The last few days the temps have struggled to get above freezing. The weatherman said that it looked like more cold weather was in store for us late this weekend. It sure has been a shock after temps in the low 70's.
